To become a member of the ECWPRA, individuals must:
1. Be a female over the age of 18.
2. Be either a card or permit holding member of the WPRA in good standing.
Annual ECWPRA membership dues are $100.00.
Members are permitted to join at anytime during the year. That joining member will start to accumulate money points or permit points and begin their rodeo count on the date that their completed membership form and membership dues are received by the ECWPRA Secretary. All members (new and renewal) must complete a membership form and have paid an ECWPRA officer prior to competing in order to start accumulating money points or permit points and begin their rodeo count.
ECWPRA members are classified into one of two divisions. The member's division classification may change during the current rodeo season, as a result of a change in the member's WPRA membership status.
Top Ten Division
The Top Ten Division is made up of WPRA Card Holding members and WPRA Permit Holding members who have previously won the Permit Champion title.
Permit Division
The Permit Division is made up of WPRA Permit Holding members that have never won the Permit Champion title.
Any Permit Division member who fills her WPRA permit and chooses to buy her WPRA card during the current rodeo season will automatically be moved from the Permit Division and placed in the Top Ten Division. All points the member accumulated in the Permit Division will be erased and the member will begin with 0 points in the Top Ten Division. The member may also elect to purchase a second WPRA permit. This would allow her to remain in the Permit Division for the remainder of the year, continue to accumulate Permit points and retain her Rookie eligibility
